NCSC Director Florian Schütz at the RSAC Conference in San Francisco

Bern, 23.03.2026 — Florian Schütz, Director of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), will be attending the RSAC Conference in San Francisco from 23 to 26 March. This leading global event in the field of IT and cybersecurity brings together representatives from industry, science, and public administration. During the conference, Mr Schütz will participate in various panels and hold bilateral talks with representatives from industry and international organisations.

The RSAC Conference, held annually in San Francisco, is regarded as one of the world's leading platforms for IT and cybersecurity. This year's conference, which will take place from 23 to 26 March, will focus on the current use of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, emerging threats, and international cooperation in defending against cyberattacks. Particular attention will be given to approaches to collective cyberdefence, and to the tension between innovation and regulation.

Discussions with government representatives from over 35 countries

The Director of the National Cyber Security Centre, Florian Schütz, will also take part in the International Cybersecurity Forum – a one day event that will bring together senior government representatives from over 35 countries. Discussions will focus particularly on the responsible use of artificial intelligence and approaches to strengthening international cooperation.

Panels on regulatory developments

In addition, Mr Schütz will participate in various panels, including discussions on regulatory developments and their impact on operational cybersecurity. On the fringes of the conference, he will hold bilateral talks with industry and international organisation representatives to strengthen international exchange and address current challenges together.

By taking part in the RSAC Conference, the NCSC underscores the importance of international cooperation for effective cybersecurity, while also actively contributing Switzerland’s perspective to the global dialogue.
